The horrifying end of a love marriage has come to light from Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, where the husband first shot his wife dead and then killed himself by shooting himself. After the incident, there is mourning in both their families.
The accused had reached Mathura from Jhansi for murder and suicide. The police have taken the dead bodies into their custody and sent them for post-mortem. Also, investigation into the matter has been started.
According to the information, Balkishan Vishwakarma, resident of Gandhi Nagar, had two sons Mithun and Radhe and three daughters Chhaya, Manisha and Rashi lived in Simravari village located in Babina police station area of Jhansi. Mithun fell in love with his maternal aunt’s daughter Pukkhan. Being close relatives, both the families opposed this relationship. Without caring about worldly matters, both of them had a love marriage in the year 2019. After marriage, Mithun was not accepted by his family.
The young man had gone to Delhi
Therefore, he started living in Gandhi Nagar by taking a room on rent. His and his wife’s family members did not maintain any kind of relationship or communication with them. After some time, he went to Delhi with his wife and started driving a car there. Mithun’s mother Premwati told that her son had gone to Delhi with his wife after marriage. Didn’t come back from there. Meanwhile, he also had a son. Who died a few days later, mother’s hand was broken a few days ago.
There was a dispute after the second marriage
On knowing about this, Mithun came to his home in Jhansi with his wife Pukkhan. The son and daughter-in-law served him well and after he recovered, they went back. According to the mother, Mithun came to Jhansi alone in February 2026. Here he had another love marriage with another girl living in the village. When his wife Pukkhan came to know about this, she got angry and filed a complaint in Babina police station.
The police had calmed down the matter
The police called all the parties and it was unanimously decided to leave the second wife and live with the first wife. After the correspondence, Mithun’s second wife ended all relations with him. After this both of them again went to Delhi. There was a dispute between Mithun and Pukkhan and she left her husband. Pukkhan started living separately from her husband and also started working in a spa centre. Meanwhile, Mithun tried to convince her several times, but she did not agree.
Mithun was upset due to his wife leaving him
Fed up with Mithun, Pukkhan came to Mathura and started working in a spa center while renting a house with her friend Ragini. Mithun’s mother told that her son had come about 15 days ago and was very upset. He had cut the veins of his hand when Pukkhan did not come. He was saved with great difficulty. He was very mentally disturbed. He wanted either Pukkhan to live with him or leave him forever after studying.
Committed suicide by shooting his wife
Mithun left his Gandhi Nagar home around 12 noon on Thursday. After this, at around 9 pm, he went to his first wife Pukkhan, who lived on rent in Suryalok Colony, Highway Police Station area in Mathura. There was a dispute between the two and after this Mithun shot Pukkhan. Along with this he also shot himself with the pistol. Both of them died on the spot within a short time.
A girl named Ragini, who lived with Pukkhan on rent, informed her landlord and the police about the incident. After identification, the police sent information to the families of both and called them to Mathura. His postmortem is being conducted on Friday.
