Indian Institute of Technology, BHU (IIT BHU) has invited applications for various posts under Group ‘A’, Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’. The application process for these posts has started and candidates can submit applications through the official website of IIT BHU iitbhu.ac.in till 21 December 2023. Applications are being accepted from December 1. According to the notification issued by the institute, only online applications will be valid for these posts. Applications made through registered post or other means will not be valid.

- Superintending Engineer (Group A) – 1 Post
- Technical Officer (Group A) – 13 Posts
- Junior Technician (Group C) – 47 Posts
- Library Superintendent (Group B) – 1 Post
- Junior Library Superintendent (Group B) – 1 Post
What should be the qualification?
Candidates applying for Superintending Engineer posts should have B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering. For Technical Officer posts, one should have M.Tech degree in the relevant subject. Whereas for Library Superintendent posts, the applicant should have a degree in the relevant subject. Age limit – The age limit has been determined differently for different posts. At the same time, relaxation in maximum age limit has also been given to reserved category candidates as per government rules.
Application Fee – SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from application fee for Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ posts. Whereas for other category candidates the application fee has been fixed at Rs 500. For Group ‘C’ posts, SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from application fee, while for other categories the application fee has been fixed at Rs 250.

How will the selection be done?
Shortlisted applicants will be selected through interview. The institute has not yet released the interview date. Admit card will be issued to the registered candidates for interview.
