Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad’s party leader was shot dead in Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh. This incident of murder is of Talagram police station area. It is being told that on Thursday, Dabang suddenly entered the house of Azad Samaj Party General Secretary Bantu Singh Katheria and brutally murdered him by shooting him in the head. The killers wanted to kill Bantu Singh’s family members too, but they were hit only by bullet fragments, due to which he got injured.
The whole matter is of Jaisinghpur village of Talgram police station area. Azad Samaj Party general secretary Bantu Singh Katheria, resident of Jaisinghpur village, was having a dispute with his own uncle. Some time back also, both the families had come face to face due to a dispute over water, but the matter was somehow pacified. On Thursday morning again there was some dispute regarding water at the tube well, due to which Bantu’s uncle Surajpal and two other people entered his house and started firing bullets at the family members.
Uncle shot and killed him
During this time, whoever was there started trying to escape, but after catching hold of Bantu, the uncle fired several bullets in his head, due to which Bantu’s head was torn to pieces and he died painfully on the spot. The echo of the bullets created panic in the entire village. Before anyone could understand anything, the bullies had easily committed the crime and fled from the village.
2 members of the family injured by bullet
Ankit, brother of deceased Bantu, told that he had an old dispute with his uncle, due to which uncle Surajpal and two other people stormed the house and opened fire, due to which brother Bantu died due to bullet injuries. Two members of the family were hit by bullet fragments. Somehow we were able to save our lives. Information about the incident was also given to Dial 112, but it also reached late. The local police also arrived very late, due to which the accused fled from the spot.

As soon as the police officials got information about the incident, SP Amit Kumar Anand, ASP Dr. Arvind Kumar and CO City Dr. Priyanka Bajpai reached the spot with heavy police force. Angered by the incident, the family members did not allow the body to be lifted for a long time. After a lot of effort, the police removed the body from the spot and sent it for post-mortem.
SP gave information about the incident
Kannauj SP Amit Kumar Anand said that the victims have alleged that the uncle shot and killed the nephew. There was some dispute going on between the two, due to which the dispute escalated today and the uncle, in an intoxicated state, opened fire, resulting in the death of a young man on the spot. He told that a team has been formed in the matter. The accused will be arrested as soon as possible. Action will be taken on the basis of the complaint given by the victims.
