There is a sensation in the entire area due to the arrival of a serial killer in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Police are currently busy in identifying the killer by forming 9 teams. In the last 6 months, 9 women have been murdered following the same pattern. The latest case is of Sunday where a 55 year old woman was murdered in a village. When the police got information about this, they reached the spot and investigation is going on.
According to the information, 9 women have been murdered on the same pattern in Bareilly’s Shahi and Shishgarh police station areas since June. A big question remains before the police whether these women were murdered by one person or by different killers? Because nothing has been revealed yet in any case. All top police officers have camped in the area and have formed 9 special teams for investigation. Also, surveillance is being maintained here through drone cameras.
The police are keeping an eye on every nook and corner to find clues, however women have been instructed that no woman should go towards the fields alone. Actually this stir started when a 55 year old woman named Urmila was murdered in Jagdishpur on Sunday. The woman’s saree was wrapped around her neck and blood was coming from her head and nose. The post mortem revealed that the woman died due to strangulation.
The police have asked the villagers to form groups of 20 people each and patrol the entire village. If during this time they see any suspicious person, they should inform the police. The police have also appealed to the villagers not to take law into their hands. Police have said that they need the help of the villagers to catch this killer. The police have also made revelations about 2 of the 8 murders that took place earlier, although now those revelations are under question.
Doesn’t even use mobile
Police say that the accused youth does not even keep a mobile phone because no other mobile network was found at the places where such incidents took place. The police did not pay attention to the major incidents in the beginning, so they kept rejecting the theory of serial killer. Now the police is also investigating in the same direction. Police said that due to lack of CCTV cameras in the village, it is becoming very difficult to reach the accused.
