Ram Charan’s sports drama Peddi releases in theatres. There were already a lot of expectations about the film and there was a flood of audience reactions on social media. On Twitter named Venky commented about the film – The first half of #Peddi was average! The sequence before the interval and between the interval is powerful and the best part so far. Ram Charan’s intro sequence is also fantastic. Apart from this, everything else seems quite dull and scattered. The songs of heroine and villain are not effective. Director Buchi Babu Sana’s film Peddi stars Ram Charan along with Jhanvi Kapoor, Shiv Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Bonam Irani and Jagapathi Babu in lead roles. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film has taken advance booking of around three lakh tickets across the country on its first day. The Telugu version has sold over 28 lakh tickets, while the worldwide release has already taken over 12 crore advance bookings. Trade experts believe that the film’s opening on the first day could be in double digits and its initial gross earning worldwide could be around Rs 35 crore.
