Voting is taking place today for Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. The credibility of BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya is also at stake. The party has also given tickets to some MPs and ministers. Vijayvargiya is one of them. Vijayvargiya, who is busy in his election campaign, said that Rahul Gandhi is overconfident. He only went to Muslim settlements and held meetings where a small crowd gathered. This gave them overconfidence to win the elections.
Vijayvargiya described PM Narendra Modi as the most popular leader of the world. He said that there is Modi factor in the country and we are contesting elections under his leadership. BJP candidate and senior party leader Kailash Vijayvargiya said that in 2018 we were overconfident. We have made development and will get votes in the name of development. He claimed that there was no crowd gathering in the meetings of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Whatever happened in Rau is Congress’s frustration.
BJP held double rally as compared to Congress
If we talk about rallies in Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, then like every time, BJP has won this time too. Party leaders have held 634 public meetings across the state. 39 party leaders, including the Prime Minister, Home Minister and Chief Ministers of the states, took charge of election rallies in the state. The main contest of the party is with the Congress Party, which held only half the 350 rallies as compared to the BJP in the state elections. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were continuously holding rallies on behalf of the party in the state. The crowd also gathered. The party has made many big promises.
BJP accused of toppling Congress government
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, during an election rally in Vidisha on November 14, had made serious allegations against BJP for the fall of his party’s government in Madhya Pradesh in 2020. Along with these allegations, he expressed hope that the Congress Party will again be successful in forming a majority government in the current elections. Jyotiraditya Scindia, a vocal leader of the Congress party, brought down the Kamal Nath government by ousting about two dozen MLAs of the party. At present he is the Aviation Minister in the Central Government. Despite the setback the party faced in 2020, Rahul Gandhi expressed confidence in the Congress Party’s chances of securing a sufficient number of seats in the assembly elections. He has expressed hope of winning 150 seats.
