Chhattisgarh government has intensified preparations to make the complaint redressal system hi-tech and transparent by giving special training to the officers in Nava Raipur.

Raipur. On behalf of the Department of Good Governance and Convergence, Government of Chhattisgarh, a one-day special training program was organized today at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur for the departmental nodal and assistant nodal officers associated with CM Helpline 1076. Officials from various departments of the state government participated in this program. The objective of the training was to make the grievance redressal process more effective, transparent and timely.

CM Helpline 1076 told as a strong medium of good governance

Presiding over the program, Secretary of Good Governance and Convergence Department, Mr. Rahul Bhagat said that CM Helpline 1076 has become the easiest and effective medium to deliver good governance to common citizens. He directed the officers to ensure quality redressal of citizens’ complaints within the stipulated time limit, so that people’s trust in the governance system can be strengthened.

Special emphasis given on timely resolution of complaints

During the training, officers were given technical and practical information about Grievance Redressal System. Officials were told that if the complaint is not resolved on time at any level, it will automatically be transferred from L-1 to L-4 level. Along with this, necessary guidelines were also given to make the monitoring and resolution process of complaints more transparent.

Government’s focus on citizen feedback and transparency

In the training, the officers were also explained how satisfaction feedback would be taken from the citizens after the complaints are resolved. The objective of governance is not just to register complaints but to provide satisfactory solutions to the citizens. For this, emphasis was also laid on increasing accountability at the departmental level.

Complaints will be filed through call, app, portal and WhatsApp

Joint Secretary of the Department of Good Governance and Convergence, Shri Mayank Aggarwal informed that after the implementation of the new system, citizens will be able to lodge their complaints through many digital mediums. People will be able to direct their complaints to the government by calling toll-free number 1076, through web portal, dedicated mobile app and WhatsApp. He said that with the implementation of this new system, the speed of grievance redressal will speed up and there will be significant improvement in citizen satisfaction.
