Nimrat Kaur, Roshan Mathew to Star in Survival Drama ‘Job Trafficking’

Actors Nimrat Kaur and Roshan Mathew will headline the upcoming streaming series ‘Job Trafficking’, a survival drama that explores the dark world of organised online scam operations and cross-border human trafficking.

The Prime Video series centres on the growing menace of “pig butchering” scams, in which fraudsters spend weeks or even months building trust with victims online before persuading them to invest in fake cryptocurrency or trading platforms and ultimately stealing their money.

Beyond the financial fraud, the series sheds light on the plight of young people who are lured abroad through fake job offers, trafficked across borders and forced to participate in cyber scam operations run by organised criminal networks.

Apart from Nimrat Kaur and Roshan Mathew, the series also features Kavya Trehan and Pavan Malhotra in pivotal roles.

The story follows three strangers—a scammer trying to escape the criminal network, a housewife searching for answers after being defrauded, and a CEO caught in the middle of the unfolding crisis. Their lives intersect in a dangerous world shaped by deception, exploitation and broken trust.

Combining suspense with emotional storytelling, ‘Job Trafficking’ aims to highlight the human cost of cybercrime while exploring themes of survival, resilience and hope.

The series is produced by Pratik Khanuja, Sameer Chand, Vikesh Bhutani and Shujaat Saudagar under the banners of Select Media Holdings and Chalkboard Entertainment.
