Television actress Aditi Sharma has filed a domestic violence complaint against her husband, actor Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik, and two of his family members, alleging physical and mental harassment as well as misappropriation of her jewellery.
According to police, the Goregaon Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) on July 30 based on a complaint filed by the 29-year-old actress. The FIR names her husband Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik, 36, his mother Urmila Kaushik, 65, and his sister Kirti Kaushik, 29.
In her complaint, Aditi alleged that she was subjected to sustained physical and mental harassment during the period between November 12, 2024, and March 9, 2025, at the couple’s residence in Goregaon. She has also accused the named persons of unlawfully taking possession of her jewellery.
The actress stated that the dispute arose after her live-in relationship with Abhineet transitioned into marriage at their Goregaon residence. She has reportedly submitted details of the jewellery and other items she claims were taken.
Police have confirmed that the case has been registered and that the investigation has been assigned to a designated investigating officer. No further details regarding the probe have been officially disclosed.
