It seems that the online spat between Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan is taking a heated turn. In a fresh development, Kangana has hit back at Hrithik and asked him to “stop adding fuel to the fire.” Kangana’s response came hours after Hrithik reacted to the viral “We Need to Apologise to Hrithik” trend, urging people not to be swayed by social media narratives.

Following the controversy blowing up on the internet, Kangana also broke her silence over the matter. Initially, when social media platforms were buzzing with ‘We Owe an Apology to Hrithik Roshan,’ the actor responded by saying that he would wait for the facts and the right context before taking a position.
Later, Kangana shared a new post about Hrithik’s reaction and accused him of remaining silent while people allegedly trolled and harassed her in his name.
In her note, Kangana said that she is happy for Hrithik and Saba, as the two have found each other. She also urged him not to “tease” her through such remarks and said his comments were adding “fuel to the fire.”
She wrote, “Dear Hrithik, I am happy that you have found your perfect match, Saba Azad, and you both look great together. You are in a committed relationship, and it doesn’t suit you to tease a woman like this. Instead, you should condemn all those who are harassing and bullying me using your name. Stop adding fuel to the fire and embarrassing your partner. Hope better sense prevails and you stop making unreasonable comments (sic).”

Why is ‘We Owe an Apology to Hrithik Roshan’ trending?
The whole matter cropped up when Kangana Ranaut called the Gen Z protesters “Generation Gutter” while commenting on the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led student movement. Soon, CJP leader Saurav Das hit back at the actress, to which she later responded by comparing herself and her acting career, as well as her National Award wins, to where he is at his age.
To this, Saurav, in an interview, gave a befitting reply by saying that his friends often say he resembles a young Hrithik Roshan and questioned why Kangana was targeting him. That one remark reminded people of Hrithik and Kangana’s 2016 controversy, and soon ‘We Need to Apologise to Hrithik Roshan’ started trending online.
The trend gained even more momentum after influencer Freddy Birdy posted, “The world owes an apology to Hrithik Roshan.” Hrithik responded by saying, “My friend, siding with ‘A’ just cause you don’t like ‘B’ anymore is a small part of the larger systemic issue plaguing our society. I’ll wait for when the context to it is the right one, and motivated by facts. That would be fair. But then again, who cares anymore, right?”
