New Delhi [भारत]July 29 (ANI): Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday criticized opposition parties for not speaking on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, saying “they politicized the issue.”
Speaking to reporters after Parliament adjourned at midnight, Rijiju said, “We have just left Parliament at 12 midnight… Opposition parties did not even talk on the bill. They politicized the issue. On the contrary, everyone who spoke on behalf of the NDA spoke on the bill… NDA MPs participated very constructively. Unfortunately, those speaking on behalf of the Congress largely focused on political matters unrelated to the bill. However, this is a good thing That the Parliament continued till late night…”

Union minister Giriraj Singh said, “The entire opposition failed to present a united stand on the bill. Government fully committed: Sukant Majumdar
Speaking on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar said that “the government is fully committed.” He said, “There was a lot of discussion. Many suggestions came including those from the opposition… Our minister Jitendra Singh introduced the bill. So it is natural that he will also answer questions on it.”
