Adhik Maas Purnima 2026:In astrology, every full moon is considered very special. Today, bathing and donation is being done on the full moon day of Adhikamas. The full moon of Adhikamas comes once in three years, hence this date has special significance. According to the Panchang, the full moon date of Adhikamas is 30th May i.e. yesterday at 11:57 am, which will remain till 02:14 pm today. Since Purnima Tithi has been found today at the time of sunrise. That’s why today it is being given a bath.
Brahma Muhurta is the best and best time for bathing on the full moon day of Adhikamas. Today Brahma Muhurta started at 04:03. This Brahma Muhurta lasted till 04:43 in the morning. This was the best time to take bath in Ganga or other holy rivers. However, devotees are still taking bath in other holy rivers including Ganga. At this time, Amrit Kaal is going on, which has started from 04:33 PM and is going to last till 06:20 PM. Bath can also be taken in Abhijeet Muhurta from 11:57 am to 12:51 pm.

Today you can donate rice, pulses, flour, jaggery, ghee, milk and seasonal fruits like mango or banana as per your capacity.
