The main attraction of Hemchala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple is said to be the mysterious statue of Lord Narasimha Swamy. The skin of this statue is very soft and this is considered its special thing. It is believed that as soon as the skin of this statue is pressed, a red mark appears there. Not only this, if it is pressed hard, blood also starts coming out from this idol.

The statue itself appears from the underworld

Blood keeps coming out from the statue from time to time. Because of this, the priests and priests of the temple continuously apply sandalwood paste on the idol of Lord Narasimha, so that the bleeding can be stopped. According to the legend, this statue of God has appeared from Swayambhu i.e. the underworld itself. Devotees from all over the country and abroad come to this temple to seek peace, tranquility and divine blessings.

According to the belief related to the temple, having darshan of God here destroys all the sorrows. Lord Narasimha also gives his blessings to childless couples.
