RRB Group D Exam Checklist: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the Exam City Intimation Slip 2026 for Group D CEN 09/2025 recruitment exam. Candidates whose exam is scheduled between August 3 to August 21, 2026 can now check their exam city online. However, this is only a slip giving information about the examination city and will not be considered as admit card. 1. First of all, check the complete information of Exam City Slip.
After downloading the slip, carefully match all the information like your name, registration number, roll number, exam date, shift and exam city. In case of any discrepancy, contact the concerned RRB.
2. Wait for the Admit Card
City Slip only states the exam city. Admit card will be released a few days before the exam date. The complete address of the examination center and other necessary instructions will be given in it. Therefore, keep checking the RRB website regularly.
3. Keep important documents ready in advance
It will be necessary to have a valid photo identity proof along with the admit card for the examination. Keep documents like Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport or Driving License ready in advance.

4. Carry passport size photo also
If the requirement of recent passport size photograph is mentioned in the examination instructions, then keep the photograph ready in advance so that there is no problem at the last moment.

7. Revise the exam pattern once again
100 questions will be asked in RRB Group D CBT in 90 minutes. There will be questions from General Science (25), Mathematics (25), General Intelligence & Reasoning (30) and General Awareness & Current Affairs (20). There will be negative marking of one-third mark for each wrong answer and normalization will be applied on the CBT score.
8. Prepare accordingly for your shift
The examination will be held in three shifts-
- Morning: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
- Afternoon: 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM
- Evening: 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
- Prepare your body clock and revision routine according to the time of the shift in which the exam is taking place.
9. Avoid haste on the exam day
Keep admit card, ID proof and other important documents in the bag a day in advance. Avoid carrying unnecessary items on the day of examination and reach the center on time.
10. Trust only official information
