Even before its release, the advance booking of the film has made many records. Despite online leaks and censor related controversies, the excitement of the audience did not diminish. This political action thriller, which was released with about 12 thousand shows across the country, sold more than 10 lakh tickets in advance on the first day. With this, ‘Jana Nayakan’ has made the record of second highest opening day advance booking of 2026 and has left behind many big films.
What was the advance booking of ‘Jana Nayakan’ on the first day?
On the first day of release, ‘Jana Nayakan’ got around 12 thousand shows all over India. The film sold 10.05 lakh tickets excluding block seats on the first day. Of these, the maximum number of 9.76 lakh tickets were for the Tamil version. Around 22 thousand tickets of the Telugu version and around 7,500 tickets of the Hindi version were sold. The film did a gross business of Rs 22.26 crore from advance booking. The film got the biggest response from Tamil Nadu, where the advance booking was Rs 12.27 crore. After this, advance booking of Rs 5.96 crore was recorded from Karnataka and Rs 2.02 crore from Kerala.
