Bhopal/Alirajpur. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar in Alirajpur district, the birthplace of immortal martyr Chandrashekhar Azad, on July 23. Here, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, he paid tribute to Azad by garlanding his statue. The Chief Minister said that the sacrifice, indomitable courage, patriotism and supreme sacrifice of immortal martyr Chandrashekhar Azad is a source of inspiration for every citizen of the country. He said that Azad’s ideals will continue to give the message of national service, self-respect and patriotism to the coming generations.
CM Mohan Yadav News: Green flag given to ‘Azad Prerna Mashal Yatra’
After the tribute program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the ‘Azad Prerna Mashal Yatra’ from Chandrashekhar Udyan. A large number of public representatives, administrative officials, youth and common citizens participated with enthusiasm in this yatra. The torch procession reached Chandrashekhar Azad’s hut, known as Azad Smriti Mandir. There the Chief Minister once again paid tribute to his statue by paying floral tributes.

The Chief Minister visited the Azad Smriti Mandir and observed the historical documents and pictures related to the life of Chandrashekhar Azad displayed there. He looked at important information related to Azad’s birth, childhood, role played in the freedom struggle and the supreme sacrifice he made for the country. During this, the Chief Minister said that the entire life of Chandrashekhar Azad is a living example of courage, self-respect and patriotism. His ideals will always inspire the countrymen, especially the youth, for nation building and service to the country.
Azad Katha: Saw the glorious story from Kakori incident to supreme sacrifice
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also visited ‘Azad Katha’ displayed in the campus. In this, Chandrashekhar Azad’s revolutionary life, Kakori incident, Saunders massacre, his leadership in Hindustan Socialist Republican Army (HSRA) and the supreme sacrifice given for the motherland were presented in detail.
The Chief Minister said that Azad’s life is an example of sacrifice, courage, self-respect and patriotism, which will always inspire the coming generations to serve the country. He called upon the youth to adopt the ideals of great revolutionaries in their lives and play an active role in nation building.
