How will I get the loan waiver amount?
According to the government, the farmers who have been selected will soon be sent information through SMS. After this the beneficiaries will have to complete their Aadhaar Authentication. After completion of the verification process, the loan waiver amount will be deposited directly into the loan account of the concerned farmer through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). This will keep the entire process transparent and easy.
Where to see the beneficiary list?
For information related to the scheme, the state government has prepared an online portal, where 53 banks have uploaded the data of crop loans of farmers. Farmers will first have to register themselves on the Agristack platform. After this, Aadhaar verification can be done by visiting about 32,000 government service centers present across the state. Apart from this, the list of beneficiaries will also be made available in Gram Panchayat, Co-operative Society and respective bank branches, so that farmers can easily see their names.

Relaxation in rules, now more farmers will get benefits
The state government has also made important changes in the rules of the scheme. Now the farmers who have taken the benefit of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Kisan Loan Waiver Scheme of 2019 will also be eligible for new loan waiver of up to Rs 2 lakh. Earlier such farmers used to get incentive of only Rs 50 thousand. Apart from this, it will not be mandatory for farmers to repay the loan in the year 2026-27 only. If a farmer has repaid his crop loan on time in any two years before, he will also be considered eligible for this scheme. This is expected to provide relief to a large number of farmers.
