Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav received a warm welcome in support of UCC during his visit to Indore. He said that UCC is a big step towards giving equal rights to all citizens.

Bhopal/Indore. When Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Indore on Thursday, he was warmly welcomed by various social, religious and civil organizations. During the welcome, a large number of people supported the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) which is going to be implemented in the state.

On this occasion, people of all religions greeted the Chief Minister. The special thing was that Muslim women also welcomed Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and expressed gratitude on the passing of the UCC Bill in the Assembly. During the program, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the new lane of Lavkush Level-2 Bridge of Indore.

CM Mohan Yadav gave a big message on the birth anniversary of Chandrashekhar Azad.

While talking to the media after the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav remembered the birth anniversary of immortal martyr Chandrashekhar Azad. He said that today the country is indebted to those great revolutionaries who sacrificed everything to liberate India.

He said that heroes like Chandrashekhar Azad and Bhagat Singh had imagined an India where all citizens would get equal rights and equal opportunities. According to him, the system of uniform law is also a part of the same thinking. The Chief Minister said that today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many such historic decisions are being taken in the country, which were dreamed of by the freedom fighters. He also congratulated the people of Madhya Pradesh on the passing of the UCC Bill in the Assembly.

MP government claims on UCC, contacted 3.5 crore people

The Chief Minister said that the state government launched an extensive public relations campaign regarding the Uniform Civil Code. During this period, more than three and a half crore people were reached and suggestions were invited from the public. He said that the government received about 10 lakh suggestions, after studying which the UCC Bill was prepared. The Chief Minister said that after the implementation of UCC, Madhya Pradesh will be among the major states where equal law will be applicable for all citizens and their rights will be equally protected.

Uniform law will apply to many matters including marriage, divorce and inheritance.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that many important topics including marriage, divorce, succession have been included in the Uniform Civil Code. He said that after the implementation of the law, equal legal system will be applicable for all communities including Hindus, Muslims, Parsis, Christians. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is working in the spirit of “One Country, One Constitution, One Mark and One Head” and the Uniform Civil Code is an important step in that direction.

Indore is a model of development, double-decker bridge becomes an example of modern engineering.

Praising the development works of Indore, the Chief Minister said that the city always sets a new direction for the development of the state. He said that Indore’s double-decker bridge is an excellent example of modern engineering and better urban development. He said that the biggest feature of this project is that the roadway below, the railway track above it and another road bridge has been prepared at the top. The Chief Minister congratulated the concerned departments and engineers for this achievement.
