Fire broke out on platform number 6 of Sasaram station

According to the information, smoke suddenly started coming out from a coach of Patna Fast Passenger train parked on platform number 6 of Sasaram railway station on Monday morning. Within a short time the fire spread rapidly and the entire carriage was engulfed in flames. There was panic among the passengers present at the station. People started leaving the platform and running away. As soon as the information was received, RPF and railway employees reached the spot and relief work was started immediately.

Fire brigade brought it under control

As soon as information about the incident was received, several fire brigade vehicles reached the station. After much effort the fire was brought under control. According to railway officials, due to timely action, the fire could not reach the other coach. At present, the real cause of the fire is being investigated, but in the initial investigation, short circuit is being considered as the cause.

On Sunday, a fire broke out in Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express in Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh. It was told that a fire had suddenly erupted in the B-1 coach of the train. The incident occurred at around 5:15 am between Vikramgarh Alot and Lunrichha stations of Kota railway division. At that time there were 68 passengers present in the train. Two coaches were affected due to the fire, but it was a matter of relief that there was no major damage or loss of life there either.
