This comedy drama starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Vamika Gabbi received a mixed response from the audience, but the film saw a good jump in its earnings on the first Sunday. In three days, the film has done decent business in the domestic and foreign markets. However, comparisons are still being made with Kartik Aaryan’s 2019 film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, which had a much stronger performance in the opening weekend. Now everyone’s eyes are on Monday’s test.

The film showed a jump of more than 34 percent on its first Sunday as compared to Saturday. According to trade reports, the film collected around Rs 7.75 crore nett in India on the third day. Earlier, the film had earned Rs 4 crore on the first day and Rs 5.75 crore on the second day. The film’s net collection in India has reached Rs 17.50 crore in three days.

What was the worldwide collection of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’?
According to reports, the India gross collection of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’ has reached approximately Rs 21 crore. At the same time, in the overseas market the film earned around Rs 1.25 crore net on the third day. With this the total foreign gross collection of the film has become Rs 3.25 crore. The total worldwide gross collection of the film in three days is said to be around Rs 24.25 crore. More than 6350 shows of the film were organized across the country on Sunday.
‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ is lagging behind ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’
Even though there has been an increase in the earnings of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’, it is far behind the Kartik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey starrer ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ released in 2019. The first film had earned Rs 14.51 crore on the third day alone. At the same time, its total collection for the first three days had reached Rs 35.94 crore. The first part had earned Rs 9.10 crore on the first day and Rs 12.33 crore on the second day.
