Addressing the BJP district training class in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described BJP as a party with the ideology of nationalism and Indianness. He emphasized on Ram Mandir, booth organization, nation first and worker based politics.
Gorakhpur. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the society does not respect the conduct of those political parties which are immersed in corruption and appeasement politics. He said that BJP workers get respect in the society because the party follows the values of nationalism, Indianness, purity and transparency.
The Chief Minister was addressing the inaugural session of BJP District Training Class organized near Tenua Toll Plaza located in Sahjanwa Assembly constituency of Gorakhpur on Sunday. This program was organized under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Campaign 2026.
BJP’s basic mantra is ‘Nation First’: CM Yogi
CM Yogi said that BJP is the only political party to connect the country’s security, culture, good governance and prosperity. He said that BJP has always been working on the ideology of “nation first, party second and individual interest last”. He said that on the basis of the ideals and values given by the founders of BJP, the party has become the largest political party in the world today.
Chief Minister spoke on the development and history of BJP
Speaking on the topic ‘History and Development of BJP’, the Chief Minister said that in less than 50 years, BJP has strengthened the nationalist ideology at the Center and in 22 states of the country. He said that whenever there is talk of nationalism, the election symbol of BJP and lotus comes first to the mind of Indians living in the country and abroad.
Congress accused of appeasement politics
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Congress had started appeasement politics soon after the implementation of the Constitution. He alleged that Congress has again made the appeasement caused by the partition of the country a part of politics. He said that for this reason Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh felt that a new political party was needed for the interest of the country and nationalism, after which Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee was handed over the responsibility of Bharatiya Jan Sangh.
Mentioned Dr. Mukherjee’s struggle against Article 370
CM Yogi said that the Congress government had implemented Article 370 and permit system in Jammu and Kashmir against the wishes of the creator of the Constitution Baba Saheb BR Ambedkar. He said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had protested against this and given the slogan “Two legislations, two heads and two marks will not work in one country”. The Chief Minister said that he was arrested during the Kashmir agitation and died in jail.
Thoughts of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay cited as inspiration
The Chief Minister said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya had talked about extending the benefits of the schemes to the last person of the society. He said that the basis of prosperity of any nation should be the happiness of the face of the person standing at the last rung. He said that Jan Sangh and BJP have always given priority to the upliftment of the poor, the deprived and the last man.
Party’s resolutions came true under the leadership of PM Modi
CM Yogi said that BJP was formed on 6 April 1980 under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. In the initial phase, the party had only two MPs, but today BJP has become the largest political party in the world. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the dreams and ideas of the party’s founders have been realized in the last 11 years.
Booth worker can also become Prime Minister in BJP
The Chief Minister said that BJP is the only party where even a booth level worker can become State President, National President, Chief Minister and Prime Minister. He said that in BJP, importance is not given to familyism but to the hard work of the organization and workers.
Ram temple construction said to be the beginning of a new era
CM Yogi said that BJP had supported the construction of a grand temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya in 1986. He said that after the formation of the BJP government, the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya was completed, which is the beginning of a new era. Describing it as a national temple, he said that it is a symbol of respect for Indian culture and faith.
Emphasis laid on strengthening booth organization
The Chief Minister told the workers that the real power of elections lies at the booth level. He said that success in elections can be achieved only by strengthening the booth organization. Reiterating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message of “if you win the booth, you win the election”, he called upon the workers to remain active at the booth level.
Development exhibition also inaugurated
Before joining the training class, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the development exhibition at the venue. Public welfare schemes, development works of the Central and State Government and the development model of Gorakhpur were displayed in the exhibition.
Many senior leaders were present in the program
BJP District President Janardan Tiwari, Union Minister of State for Rural Development and MP Kamlesh Paswan, MP Ravi Kishan, District Panchayat President Sadhna Singh, Regional President Sahajanand Rai, former minister Dr. Satish Dwivedi, MLA Pradeep Shukla and other public representatives and workers were present in the program.
