Co-ordination committee demanded action
The coordination committee of all the District Court Bar Associations of Delhi has also reacted to this incident.
According to reports, the committee held an emergency meeting on Saturday and strongly criticized the behavior of the judicial officer involved in the incident.
In a statement, the committee said the behavior shown towards a lawyer, who is also the president of the Rohini Court Bar Association, during the judicial proceedings was ‘objectionable and inappropriate’.
The committee has demanded immediate and strict action against that judicial officer. The committee said that such incidents are not good for the dignity and decorum of judicial institutions.
The Committee further said that strict and exemplary action should be taken so that a clear message is sent that behavior that affects the reputation of the judiciary will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
