According to the company’s latest annual report, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) K. Kritivasan received a total remuneration of Rs 28 crore in 2025-26, which is 6.3 percent more than last year. At the same time, Tata Group and TCS Chairman N. Chandrasekaran did not take any commission from this IT company. He received only Rs 4.2 lakh sitting fees for the entire financial year. The annual report states that as a policy, Chairman N. Chandrasekaran has not taken any commission from the company, hence it has not been mentioned.
What is included in the Kritivasana package?
Kritivasan’s package for the financial year included a basic salary of Rs 1.67 crore, benefits, allowances and perks of Rs 1.43 crore, and performance-linked commission of Rs 25 crore. According to the annual report of this IT company for the financial year 2025-26, the remuneration of the CEO was 332.8 times the average remuneration of TCS employees. It has been told in the report that during the financial year, the average wages of employees increased by 5.1 percent. The average annual salary of junior and mid-level employees in India increased between 4.5 percent and 7 percent, while top performers received double-digit increases.
What kind of quarterly results?
TCS registered a 12.22 percent increase in its net profit in the March quarter, which stood at Rs 13,718 crore. For FY 2025-26, its profit after tax increased by 1.35 per cent to Rs 49,210 crore, compared to Rs 48,553 crore in FY25. Income from operations increased by 9.64 percent to Rs 70,698 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2026, while for the entire financial year it increased by 4.58 percent to Rs 2.67 lakh crore.
