In this direction, Uttar Pradesh government has also started taking big decisions. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to reduce the number of vehicles in the convoy of the Chief Minister, Ministers and senior officials in the state by 50 percent. The government aims to ensure better utilization of resources along with fuel savings.
Tour program of parliamentary committees of Legislative Council postponed
Now taking this initiative forward, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council Chairman Kunwar Manvendra Singh has postponed all the pre-planned tour programs of parliamentary committees till further orders. This information was given by Principal Secretary of the Legislative Council, Dr. Rajesh Singh gave. He said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind fuel savings and better management of administrative resources.
Committee meetings will be held through video conferencing
Principal Secretary Dr. Rajesh Singh said that now district level officers will participate in the meetings of parliamentary committees through video conferencing. Till further orders, all officers will participate in the meetings through online mode only. The government believes that adopting digital medium will save both time and resources and administrative work will also continue to run smoothly.
