While global concert tour dates, ticket details and host cities are not yet revealed, Netflix said that the live experience would bring the world of KPop Demon Hunters to “life in spectacular ways”. Billing on the popularity of the KPop Demon Hunters, Netflix ad sales president Amy Reinhard said the streaming giant aims to build further on the excitement created by the film’s music, characters and overwhelming fan response.
Amy Reinhard also pointed out that the film’s rapidly growing cultural footprint, citing fan sing-alongs, Halloween-inspired costumes, and references at high-profile events such as the US Open and Buckingham Palace. She further claimed that the film also led to a rise in travel in South Korea.
According to reports, the concert experience is designed as an interactive adventure and will feature exclusive stage performances, fan interactions, and a never-seen-before stage adaptation. The concert will also feature world-class lighting and effects to recreate the signature style of the K-Pop acts.
