The severe storm and heavy rain that occurred in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday caused huge devastation. Around 94 people died due to strong winds, dust storm and rain in more than 25 districts including Prayagraj, Badaun, Mirzapur, Bhadohi and Fatehpur. At many places, accidents occurred due to falling of trees, electric poles and walls of houses.
On one hand, the situation has become miserable due to the scorching heat in most of the states of the country, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Delhi. In many districts the temperature has crossed 44 degrees. Whereas in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, nature wreaked such havoc that around 94 people died. Many houses were razed to the ground due to the devastation caused by the storm in UP. Hundreds of animals and thousands of birds have been killed. The weather department has issued an alert.
UP shaken by storm with speed of 90KM
In fact, the districts of Uttar Pradesh which were devastated by the storm on Budhwara include more than 25 districts like Prayagraj, Badaun, Mirzapur, Bhadohi-Fatehpur. Dust storm, rain and strong winds caused huge devastation in these districts after around 1 pm. At some places trees fell and at other places people lost their lives when walls of houses above them collapsed. In many districts, people have died due to falling trees and electric poles.
Road-rail service halted due to devastation
People in these districts of UP had to go through many problems due to this storm. For example, power supply was disrupted due to falling of trees and road and rail traffic was also affected due to trees coming on the road. However, wherever these accidents took place, as soon as the news was received, police and administration teams reached there, where they carried out relief and rescue operations. So many people were saved from this havoc of nature. Who were admitted to the nearby hospital in time.
People were seen flying in the air
You can imagine the extent of devastation caused by the storm, rain and strong winds by watching this video. How a green tree could not stand the wind and fell to the ground. It is said that the wind speed was about 90 kilometers per hour. That is, the situation was such that when people were standing outside, it seemed to them as if they were flying. So bike and car riders had to stop their vehicles.
