There is news of many casualties in the massive explosion that took place in the firecracker factory in Tonkkala in Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh. Expressing grief over the accident, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased and ordered investigation.
Bhopal/Dewas. On May 14, a major accident took place in a firecracker factory in Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh. A massive explosion in a factory located in Tonkkala area of the district created chaos in the area. The news of many casualties has come to light in this tragic accident. The explosion was so strong that panic spread in the surrounding areas.
CM Mohan Yadav expressed grief, sent officials to the spot
As soon as the information about the incident was received, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed deep sorrow over the accident. He immediately instructed senior officials of the state to reach the spot. The Chief Minister sent administrative officials including district in-charge and Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora, Home Secretary to the spot to monitor the relief and rescue operations.

Assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each for the families of those who lost their lives in the accident. Along with this, he has also given instructions to the administration to provide free treatment to the injured. The government has asked hospitals to remain on alert mode so that the injured can get better treatment immediately.
Orders for investigation into firecracker factory accident
CM Mohan Yadav has also issued orders to investigate this entire matter. The administration has been asked to conduct a detailed investigation into the causes of the accident and submit a report. The government will try to find out whether safety standards were being followed in the factory or not.

The Chief Minister said in his statement that the news of casualties in the firecracker factory explosion in Tonkkala in Dewas district is extremely heart-wrenching. He prayed to Baba Mahakal for peace of the departed souls, strength to the bereaved families to bear this loss and speedy recovery of the injured.
