Zimbabwe Squad for T20 Series vs India: Zimbabwe has announced the T20 team against India. Wesley Madhewire has returned to Zimbabwe’s T20 team after 12 months. Two players have got a chance in the T20 team for the first time, one of which is fast bowler Newman Nyamauri and the other is wicketkeeper batsman Tafadjwa Siga. Ben Curran, brother of England all-rounder Sam Curran, will also be seen playing in the T20 series against India. He has been successful in retaining his place in the team.
What changes happened in Zimbabwe’s T20 team?
The trio of Wesley Madhewere, Newman Nyamauri and Tafadzwa Siga will replace Clive Madande, Tinotenza Maphosa and Shinga Musekiwa in Zimbabwe’s T20 team. These three players were part of the Zimbabwe team in the recently concluded series against Bangladesh.
Wesley Madhewere played his last T20 match for Zimbabwe in July last year. He has the experience of playing 79 T20Is, in which apart from scoring 1256 runs, he has also taken 15 wickets. Newman Nyamauri, who has played Test and ODI, is waiting to play his first T20 for Zimbabwe. Tafadjda Siga has also played only Test before this. He has been selected for the first time in the Zimbabwe team for white ball cricket.

India-Zimbabwe T20 series schedule
A series of 3 T20 matches is to be played between India and Zimbabwe, which is starting from 23rd July. The remaining two matches of the T20 series will be played on 25 and 26 July. All three T20I matches will be organized at Harare Cricket Ground.
