Experts told that the video was made with AI
This matter became more heated when lawyer Shoni Kapoor shared this video on X. In response, journalist Jaideep Pandey wrote that this clip is fake and has been created with Artificial Intelligence (AI). He appealed to people to double check before sharing anything online, as a wrong post can spread confusion and anger within minutes.
Many other users also examined the video and called it a deepfake. This incident shows how difficult it is becoming to identify digitally altered content. Especially when with the help of AI tools, even fake videos are made exactly like the original.
A different story in real pictures
Interestingly, Madhuri Dixit had shared pictures of the same event on her social media account on March 10, 2026. In these pictures, she is wearing the same gown which is seen in the viral clip. But, in the real pictures her dress looks quite decent and beautiful, whereas in the viral video it has been changed to look objectionable. After this comparison, most people believe that this misleading video has been made by tampering with the real pictures to tarnish the image of the actress.
Not the first actress to be a victim of deepfake
Madhuri Dixit is the latest celebrity to fall victim to deepfake technology. In recent years, many Bollywood stars like Rashmika Mandanna, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan have faced it. At present, Madhuri has not given any reaction on this viral video.
