A shop owner arrested for allegedly spitting on pizza dough in Noida. Police took this action after viral CCTV footage. The accused said that he was not spitting but blowing flour. Investigation of the matter is ongoing.
A shocking CCTV footage has emerged from Noida, in which a pizza shop owner is allegedly seen spitting on pizza dough. After the video went viral, the police arrested him. The name of the accused is Muzammil, who lives in Sector-24 police station area of Noida and runs a restaurant named ‘Pizza Hut’ in Chauda village of Sector-22. This matter came to light when a CCTV video went viral online and quickly became popular among the people.
Members of Hindu Raksha Dal said that they had received information about this incident, after which they confirmed this alleged act through CCTV footage. According to Sonu Sharma, head of the organisation’s Khoda unit, the members allegedly saw the accused repeating the same act and then interrogated him. After this the accused was handed over to the local police. However, some reports also say that some members even beat him up before the police arrived.
After the video went viral, police confirmed that the accused has been arrested and is being interrogated. According to officials, precautionary action has been taken and investigation is currently underway.
During interrogation, Muzammil allegedly denied spitting on the food intentionally. He told the police that he was just blowing out excess dough while making the pizza base. Officials say that further investigation is being done regarding the video and its authenticity.
According to a police officer, forensic examination of the video can also be done to find out when it was filmed and whether it has been tampered with. According to reports, items have been seized from the store and other employees are also being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation.
