Members of Hindu Raksha Dal said that they had received information about this incident, after which they confirmed this alleged act through CCTV footage. According to Sonu Sharma, head of the organisation’s Khoda unit, the members allegedly saw the accused repeating the same act and then interrogated him. After this the accused was handed over to the local police. However, some reports also say that some members even beat him up before the police arrived.

After the video went viral, police confirmed that the accused has been arrested and is being interrogated. According to officials, precautionary action has been taken and investigation is currently underway.
