Other sources slowly started to open up about the split in the same month. An insider said that things were taking a different turn in their relationship. The source added that Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian’s romance was “heated up” when it started. This is because the former was able to travel most of the time to visit Kim and spend some time with his partner. However, Pete’s schedule changed at one point, keeping him extremely busy. Another source later said:
“It was an amicable split. They had discussed ending their relationship for a bit. It wasn’t sudden. And it was a mutual decision. Getting back together is not in the cards right now.”

The insider claimed that while Pete always wanted to take Kim to New York City, it was impossible since Kardashian had to take care of her four children along with her businesses. The source said that Kim was allegedly exhausted by the relationship and a lot of other things in her life.

Another insider for Entertainment Tonight said that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson had strong chemistry. However, Kim wanted to be single and intended to share a close friendship with Pete, considering that she still likes him a lot. The insider continued by saying:
“She still thinks he’s the nicest and sweetest guy in the world and there’s no drama or anything weird between them now.
