Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who reached Baghpat, gave a big statement on Sanatan Dharma, Somnath Temple, Ram Temple and India’s cultural heritage in the Navnath Murti Pran Pratishtha program. He said that the invaders who destroyed Sanatan have ceased to exist.

Baghpat. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath reached Shri Shiv Gorakhnath Ashram in Baghpat on Monday. Here he participated in Murti Pran Pratishtha and Aathmaan Bhandara program of Navnaths. During this, he spoke in detail on Sanatan Dharma, India’s cultural heritage and the spiritual tradition of the country.

CM Yogi said that he has come to Baghpat to give the message of the strength of Sanatan Dharma. He said that history is witness that Sanatan Dharma never forcibly ruled anyone nor enslaved anyone. India has always adopted the path of peace and humanity.

The invaders who destroyed Sanatan Dharma have ceased to exist: Yogi Adityanath

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that India has been continuously fighting against foreign invaders. Many invaders tried to damage the monasteries, temples and pilgrimage sites that were symbols of India’s faith, but they could not succeed. He said that today not even a trace of those who tried to destroy Sanatan Dharma and religious places is left. At the same time, the pilgrimage sites of India are once again re-established and standing in front of the world.

If we protect religion then religion will protect us

CM Yogi said that ‘Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah’ means that if we protect religion, religion will protect us. He appealed to the people that religion should not be misused for selfish ends. He said that the loss of a person can be compensated, but it is not possible to compensate the loss caused to religion and culture. Its impact also falls on the coming generations. Therefore everyone should work in the interest of the country and religion.

Re-consecration of Somnath temple and Operation Shakti were also mentioned.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that today has historical significance. He told that in 1026, Mahmud Ghaznavi had attacked the Somnath temple. After this, Somnath Temple was re-consecrated in 1951 by the hands of the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Somnath Swabhiman festival today. He also got the opportunity to join this event from Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

Referring to the Pokhran nuclear test, CM Yogi said that India had shown its strength to the world under Operation Shakti under the leadership of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This power is not only a symbol of the country’s security but also of world welfare.

The Chief Minister said that the history of Baghpat is linked to the Mahabharata period. Baghpat was also included in the five villages which Lord Krishna had demanded from the Kauravas for the Pandavas. He said that when he came here four years ago, the place was small, but now with the efforts of Mahant Arjunnath and the local people, it has become a major pilgrimage site. This is the real protection of our heritage.

Mentioned the historical identity of Chaudhary Charan Singh and Baghpat

CM Yogi said that the land of Baghpat gave the country farmer leaders like former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. He also praised former MP and former Mumbai Police Commissioner Dr. Satyapal Singh. He said that under the leadership of Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Jayant Chaudhary, new work is being done continuously for the development of Baghpat and the state in collaboration with the Central and State Governments.

Revival of cultural heritage is happening under the leadership of PM Modi

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the religious and cultural centers of the country are being revived under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the development of pilgrimage sites like Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, Kedarpuri and Vindhyavasini Dham is strengthening the cultural consciousness of India. He said that the construction of Ram temple is not just the construction of a temple, but a symbol of respect and gratitude towards our ancestors and traditions.

CM Yogi said that Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath is the Yogi form of Lord Shiva. He worked to spread awareness in the society during the time of slavery. He said that Yogis of Gorakhnath tradition used to go from village to village to unite people through bhajan and sarangi and prepare the society against foreign invaders. The Chief Minister said that Yogis are not limited to temples or caves only. When there is a crisis on religion and culture, then Yogi stands forward to protect the society and nation.
