Prince Yadav likely to replace Jasprit Bumrah: A shocking news has come to light amid IPL 2026. Lucknow Super Giants’ young fast bowler Prince Yadav can soon be seen in Team India’s jersey. After clean bowling a legend like Virat Kohli on a brilliant inswinging ball, the doors of his luck seem to be opening. Prince Yadav has been successful in leaving his mark in IPL 2026. It is believed that he can now be seen playing in place of Jasprit Bumrah in the Indian T20 team.

According to media reports, after India’s victory in the 2026 T20 World Cup, BCCI and the team management have prepared a plan for the workload management of Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah may be rested from T20 International matches for the next 18 to 24 months. So that he can focus on Test cricket (World Test Championship) and 2027 ODI World Cup. He can get rest even from small ODI series, so that he can enter the big tournament with full strength.
In such a situation, plans are being made to include Prince Yadav in the Indian T20 team in place of Jasprit Bumrah. While playing for Lucknow in IPL 2026, he has not only taken wickets but has also impressed everyone with the quality of his bowling. Due to which Prince Yadav can debut in the Indian team soon. His pace, swing and maturity are considered effective for the T20I setup. If Bumrah takes a break from T20I, then a young fast bowler like Prince is sure to get a chance.

This is only Prince Yadav’s second season in IPL. He has taken 16 wickets while playing 10 matches for the Lucknow team this season. He is also running third in the Purple Cap race. The special thing is that he has spent runs at an economy of only 8.08, which means batsmen are struggling even to score runs against him. Due to which he remains the most important bowler of Lucknow.
