bcci Secretary Devajit Saikia said, ‘We have come to know that unauthorized people are roaming with some teams and players. He is also going in the team bus and hotel. We will issue advisory to all franchises and players. If it is not followed then action will be taken against the culprits.
BCCI rules regarding team bus and hotel
The rule for all IPL players is that they will travel in the team bus only, they cannot use their personal vehicle. Family members and friends of the players are also not allowed to board the team bus. These rules are to maintain security and prevent corruption. Talking about the team hotel, only the families of the players are allowed to stay in the hotel. There is no entry of family and friends in the dressing room and player area. But in the current season, these rules of IPL are being broken and that is why the BCCI Secretary is now warning the teams and players on a public platform.
