According to police investigation, a young man named Aman was in love with a girl one-sidedly. He wanted to control her and her family by any means. It was with this mindset that he came in contact with a Tantrik. It is alleged that Tantrik Awadhesh Sharma made him believe that if he brought the skull from the crematorium and performed some special rituals, the girl and her family would come under his influence. From here a dangerous and illegal process started.

The matter came to light when an incident of tampering with a pyre took place after the last rites in the cremation ground of village Lodhipur. According to the information, after the death of Inter student Shubhanshu, who was ill for a long time, his family members had performed his last rites. As soon as the family returned, three people reached the crematorium on a moped and took out the skull from the burning pyre and ran away. This incident is more sensitive and serious than it sounds, as it is a violation of both the dignity of the deceased and the law.
CCTV footage became the biggest evidence, police revealed the entire conspiracy
After the incident, the police checked the CCTV cameras installed nearby. All three accused were clearly visible in the footage, which made their identification possible. After this, Hapur Dehat police station arrested Tantrik Awadhesh Sharma, Aman and another accused. Inquiry revealed that all this was done due to superstition and personal interest.
