Interestingly, his second wife is also posted as a constable in the police department. The matter came to light when the constable reached home with his second wife and the first wife caught him red-handed.
According to the information, the accused constable is of 2003 batch and is currently working in Bettiah. He was married in 2007 and has two children. A 16 year old daughter and a 14 year old son. His first wife lives in Police Colony of Danapur for better education of her children. The husband lived alone in Bettiah, where his love affair started with a 2018 batch female constable posted in Gaya.

When the soldier reached his home in Danapur with his new wife on Friday evening, his first wife was stunned to see him with another woman. When interrogated, the constable admitted without hesitation that he had married this woman. After this there was a lot of commotion in the house. On Saturday, the victim’s wife reached Danapur police station and lodged a written complaint against her husband for mental and physical harassment. According to Police Station Head Prashant Bhardwaj, information about the matter has been given to senior officials and further legal action is being taken.
