Kohli had to do something like this on the field against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026, that too when he took a strong catch of Shubman Gill.

But his throw was at least 5-6 meters away from the stumps, due to which there was no one on the other side to stop it and the ball went for 4 runs. Due to this, Gill got 5 runs instead of 1. Kohli was disappointed with himself on this matter and hence he apologized to his team for this.

Again took a sensational catch
