Exit poll has come to demoralize: Mamata Banerjee
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday alleged that exit poll predictions were being circulated on the instructions of the BJP to demoralize TMC workers. He expressed confidence that the ruling party will win more than 226 out of 294 assembly seats in the state elections. In a video message posted on ‘X’ ahead of the counting of votes on May 4, Banerjee claimed that television channels were airing projections of election results “broadcast from the BJP office”. He alleged, “What is being shown on television was broadcast from the BJP office at 1:08 pm. Money was given to get it broadcast. I have solid information about this.”
