New Delhi: It is Thursday, and GTA Online players have a new weekly event to check out from April 30 to May 6, with Rockstar bringing in the first Community Mission made through the new Rockstar Mission Creator. The event is led by “Old School Hits,” a mission created by GTA Series Videos at Legion Square for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Enhanced players.
The update is also giving players fresh rewards, extra GTA$ and RP boosts, car discounts, free vehicle chances, and new showroom picks. I’d say this is one of those weeks where players who enjoy quick cash jobs and races will have more reason to log in, especially with Payphone Hits, Madrazo Hits, Open Wheel Races, and Time Trials in the mix.
GTA Online weekly event: Old School Hits gets 4X boost
The main highlight this week is “Old School Hits,” listed as the first Community Mission made with the new Rockstar Mission Creator. It is available at Legion Square on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Enhanced.
Players on these platforms can earn 4X GTA$ and RP by playing the Community Mission Series till May 6. Completing “Old School Hits” also gives players GTA$100,000 as part of the weekly challenge.
There is a small catch for older platforms. PS4, Xbox One, and PC Legacy players get a separate Community Race Series bonus at 2X GTA$ and RP. They can also earn GTA$100,000 by winning two Open Wheel Races.
Bonus payouts this week
The weekly bonus list is fairly packed, and it does feel like Rockstar is pushing both races and quick-hit jobs this time.
Key bonuses include:
- 4X GTA$ and RP on Community Mission Series for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Enhanced
- 3X GTA$ and RP on Payphone Hits, Time Trials, and Open Wheel Races
- 2X GTA$ and RP on Madrazo Hits
- 4X Madrazo Hits bonus for GTA+ members
- 2X GTA$ and RP on Community Race Series for PS4, Xbox One, and PC Legacy
For players who still enjoy Madrazo Hits, this week looks like a decent grind window. Payphone Hits at 3X also makes sense for anyone who likes faster missions without too much setup.
