New Delhi: Coal India Limited (CIL) share price gained over 3.29 per cent to settle Rs 467.40 apiece on Tuesday. The PSU stock rallied 19 per cent over the six months. Brokerage firms, Emkay Global and Elara Capital, have projected CIL stock to rise. The state-owned Coal India declared its Q4 2025-26 Results on Monday and posted an 11.1 per cent jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 10,839.18 crore, driven by higher revenue. CIL’s consolidated net profit stood at Rs 9,751.64 crore in the year-ago period.

Coal India Q4FY26 Results
For the entire 2025-26 financial year, Coal India’s net profit declined to Rs 31,094.29 crore, as compared to Rs 35,505.79 crore in 2024-25. The company’s revenue for 2025-26 marginally declined to Rs 1,68,400.29 crore over Rs 1,69,177.37 crore for the year ended March 31, 2025.
Brokerage firm Emkay Global has maintained an ADD rating on Coal India and set a share target price of Rs 475. Elara Capital has set Coal India share target price at Rs 522 per share.
The PSU firm informed that its revenue from operations jumped to Rs 46,490.03 crore in January-March quarter FY26 as compared to Rs 43,961.56 in the same quarter of 204-25. The consolidated expenses of Coal India during the Q4 FY26 went up to Rs 37,107.07 crore, while it stood at Rs 34,999 crore in the year-ago period.
Coal India Dividend
The board of directors declared Final Dividend for the Financial Year 2025-26 @ Rs 5.25 per equity share on the face value of Rs 10/- will be made subject to approval of shareholders in the ensuing AGM.
In 2025-26, Coal India produced 768.19 million tonnes (MT) of coal, while the production stood at 781.06 in 2024-25. CIL is the single-largest coal producer in the world.
