Babar Azam’s 13th century
Peshawar batted first against Islamabad United. Captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Haris gave a fast start to the team. Haris scored 35 runs in 16 balls. After this, wicketkeeper Kusal Mendis played an inning of 41 runs in 26 balls. Michael Bracewell and Abdul Samad failed in the middle order but Babar stood firm. Babar scored a half-century in 38 balls but he reached his century in 57 balls. This is Babar Azam’s 13th century in T20 and fifth century in Pakistan Super League. The special thing is that Babar Azam completed this century by hitting a six.
