The geopolitical storms rising in West Asia have shaken the markets all over the world. In many big countries, there is a fear of supply chain breakdown and fuel shortage, but if you are in India, then you do not need to worry at all about these market speculations. The strategic efficiency with which India has handled this international crisis has today become a ‘case study’ for the world. Despite the turmoil in the crude oil market, India’s excellent management has made our energy security completely strong. India’s position is invincible on every front, from the common man’s kitchen to the country’s economy.
100% guarantee on LPG and fuel
At times of global crisis, speculators and hoarders often look to earn profits by spreading panic in the market, but this time the system has failed their entire game-plan. 100 percent uninterrupted supply of petrol, diesel and domestic LPG has been ensured across the country. The ground reality is that not a single gas distributor in the country has gone ‘dry’. Our supply chain is so strong that 51.8 lakh gas cylinders are being delivered smoothly and safely every day. The system has been made so transparent that 98% of bookings are being done digital and 94% of deliveries are being done through secure code (DAC). Under the cover of rumours, more than 2100 raids were conducted in a single day against people thinking of black marketing, heavy fines were imposed on 310 agencies and licenses of 70 were immediately suspended.
Wheels of economy at full speed
Our refineries, which are driving India’s growth story, are working non-stop at their high capacity. We have a bumper stock of petrol and diesel. Not only this, while energy is becoming expensive all over the world, to save the general public from inflation, a wonderful excise duty cut of Rs 10 per liter is implemented, due to which there is no increase in prices.
Supplies to commercial sectors like hospitals, pharma and agriculture have been restored up to 70%. The sale of 5 kg cylinders for small workers has crossed the figure of 82,000 in a day. Along with this, the country is rapidly shifting towards PNG (pipeline gas). Since March 2026, 5.45 lakh new PNG connections have been commissioned, which is a big proof of our energy self-reliance.
Excellent model of rescue from sea to Gulf countries
India today is a country which takes 100% guarantee of security of its citizens not only within its borders but also across the seven seas. Amidst the unstable environment of West Asia, Indian embassies are working in 24×7 mode. As a result, 2,764 Indian sailors deployed on commercial ships were evacuated safely without any injury and there was no major accident.
Due to smooth management of flights, 12.96 lakh passengers have returned home safely since February 28. By evacuating 2,445 Indians by land route from sensitive areas like Iran, India has impressed the whole world with its brilliant rescue operations.
