Bengaluru Boyfriend Murder Case: An incident has come to light from Bengaluru which has exposed the horrifying reality of relationships, trust and passionate love. A love story, which was supposed to lead to marriage, turns into a murder conspiracy. 27-year-old youth Kiran probably had no idea that the girl with whom he was in a relationship for the last two years would become the reason for his last night. This case is from Rajajinagar and Byadarahalli police station area of North-West Bengaluru, where the police have arrested 27-year-old woman Prema for the alleged planned murder of her boyfriend. What came to light in the initial investigation shocked even the police officers.
Alleged conspiracy hatched after refusal of marriage
According to police investigation, both Prema and Kiran worked together in a mobile service provider store. Both were in a relationship for the last two years. Prema wanted to take this relationship to marriage, but Kiran was continuously postponing the issue. It is being told that a day before the incident, Kiran flatly refused to get married. Prema became very angry due to this. However, he did not express his anger at that time, but instead remained calm and allegedly made a dangerous plan.
Was alone at home, called boyfriend
According to the police, Prema called Kiran to her home when her family members had gone out for work. His house is located in Anjananagar area, which comes under Byadarahalli police station. Kiran was originally from Chikkanayakanahalli in Tumakuru district. He had planned to go to Nelamangala that day, but he went to meet Prema on her invitation. According to investigators, Prema talked about giving him a “surprise” and assured him that it would be a special and memorable moment in their relationship.

According to the police, Prema convinced Kiran that BDSM role play was going to take place between the two. On this pretext, he first blindfolded her, then handcuffed her and tied her legs with a rope. Kiran felt that this was a private moment happening with mutual consent between the two. But after a few minutes this trust became the cause of his death.

Investigation revealed that after Kiran was completely tied, Prema left her on the bed in the same condition. After this he poured inflammable substance on it and set it on fire. Kiran could not free himself as his hands and legs were tied and he was blindfolded. He died a painful death on the spot. The most shocking thing is that according to the police, the accused woman also recorded his last moments on her mobile phone.
Neighbors heard screams, saw smoke and called police
During the incident, neighbors heard screaming sounds from the house and saw thick smoke coming out. After this he immediately informed the police and emergency services. Fire department and police team reached the spot. Initially Prema tried to make it look like suicide. She claimed that she was in the bathroom and came out and saw this scene. But the police found persistent contradictions in his statements.
Statements changed again and again, then alleged confession
During interrogation, Prema changed her statements several times. First he talked about hearing a loud noise, then narrated the incident differently. According to a senior police officer, in the initial investigation it is clear that the accused trapped the youth under the guise of a romantic meeting and then burnt him alive. Later the police also found evidence which showed that the inflammable substance had been purchased in advance. This further strengthened the suspicion that the murder was pre-planned.

Important evidence found in mobile
Police have confiscated the mobile phone of the accused. It allegedly contains a recording of the victim’s last moments. This video is being considered a very important evidence in the investigation. Deputy Commissioner of Police (North-West) Nagesh DL said the investigation is ongoing and the entire sequence of events is being confirmed. The accused is continuously giving contradictory statements, hence every aspect is being investigated in depth.
Kiran’s body has been sent to Victoria Hospital for post-mortem. The police are waiting for a formal complaint from the victim’s family, after which the further legal process will be expedited.
