SSLC Topper: Balloon seller’s daughter topped, garage mechanic’s son got 98% marks! | Balloon Sellers Daughter Scores 623 In Sslc Mechanics Son Gets 98 Percent

In Karnataka SSLC, Hitashree, daughter of a balloon seller, stood second in the state by scoring 623/625 marks. Whereas Bharat, son of a mechanic, scored 98% marks. Both of them achieved this success through hard work despite financial constraints.

As soon as the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board (KSEAB) announced the SSLC i.e. 10th results of 2025-26, a story came to light from Tumakuru district which has become an example for everyone. This is the story of a girl who, despite difficult circumstances, has brought fame to the entire state with her hard work and dedication. Hitashree D., a student of Chirek Public School, Madhugiri town, has secured second position in the state by securing 623 marks out of 625 in the SSLC examination. His success is not just his own victory, but it is an inspiring example of the power of education amidst poverty.

Amidst the financial crunch, the daughter played a trick.

Hitashree’s father supports his family by selling colorful balloons. There was a shortage of money at home, but he did not let his daughter’s education suffer. With the small income he earns from selling balloons, he dreamed of educating his daughter and making her a successful person, which has now come true. Despite difficult circumstances, Hitashree paid full attention to her studies and achieved this position by using her time properly. Despite facing daily challenges, his focus remained on his goal. His determination and hard work are the reason for this excellent result. Making it among the top 28 students of the state is a proof of his ability.

Inspiration for many people

The school teachers, family members and people in the neighborhood are very happy with this success. Hitashree has proved with her success that “the light of knowledge can be there even in the house of a seller of colorful balloons.” This victory of Hitashree will encourage many poor students and give the message that if you have hard work and strong intentions, no difficulty can stop you from reaching your destination.

Success of bike garage mechanic’s son

On the other hand, another inspiring story has also come to light from Haveri district. A student born in an ordinary family has achieved excellent results despite difficult circumstances, whose story is giving courage to many people. Bharat Basavaraj Hiremath, a student of Morarji School of Negalur village in Haveri taluk, has achieved a major feat by scoring 98% marks in the SSLC examination. Bharat is getting a lot of praise from teachers, villagers and relatives for scoring such good marks despite less facilities.

Bharat’s father works as a mechanic in a bike garage and his mother runs the family by cooking at home. Despite such financial constraints, the parents left no stone unturned in their son’s education, which has resulted in Bharat’s excellent marks today. Regarding this, Bharat told, “My father is a mechanic in the garage. My mother teaches me by cooking. Her hard work is my inspiration. I have got 98% marks. I was expecting even more than this, so I am thinking of applying for re-evaluation.”

Talking about his future, he said, “My dream is to become a doctor or a businessman. But we are short of money to pay the fees required for admission in the science stream. Still, I will try to explore further opportunities based on my marks.”

This success of Bharat is proof that if one has courage and hard work, then even financial constraints cannot stop one from achieving big goals. If such promising students get the right encouragement and support, they can definitely reach greater heights.
