Ducati Multistrada V4 rally can be customisable under brands DFM programme

New Delhi: Ducati has added the Multistrada V4 Rally to its Ducati Factory Made (DFM) programme. This means buyers can now customise the bike before it is delivered, instead of making changes later. The company will build these customised bikes directly on its production line, so the quality stays the same as standard models.

This move is part of Ducati’s plan to give buyers more control over how their motorcycle looks and feels. Instead of going to aftermarket shops, customers can now choose factory-approved options while ordering the bike itself.

With this update, Ducati is trying to make personalisation a part of the manufacturing process. All changes are made during assembly, not after the bike is ready. This allows brand mechanics to avoid fitting issues and keeps everything properly tested and aligned. It also makes the bike feel more like a single-built machine rather than an aftermarket-modified one.

Design and hardware options

The biggest change comes in design choices. Buyers can pick from different colours and styles, including classic looks, modern glossy finishes, and matte shades. Developed with Lamborghini, the automaker also has racing-inspired themes and special colours developed, which give more variety to the buyers.

Apart from looks, some parts of the bike can also be changed. Buyers get options for different wheel designs, brake components, and even finishes for parts like the rear subframe. There are also choices for seats and touring accessories, depending on how the bike will be used.

Ducati has made this process available online, so customers can configure their bike before placing the order.
