BCCI is going to implement the new rules of cricket proposed by Marylebone Cricket Club in domestic cricket. These new rules will be applicable in other domestic tournaments including Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. These rules are related to changes in the last overs of the day in first class cricket and the entry of the head coach on the field. These new rules will be implemented in Indian cricket

• According to the new rules, it will now be necessary to complete the last over of the day in first class cricket. Meaning, if a wicket falls in the last over of the day, the game will not stop there. The new batsman will have to play till the last ball of the day.
• During the drinks break during ODI matches, the head coach will be allowed to enter the field.
• If a player deliberately scores less runs, the fielding captain will be able to decide which batsman will face the next ball.
• The rule of making the ball dead has also changed now. Now it is not necessary for the ball to be in the possession of the bowler or the wicketkeeper to be considered dead. If the ball is in the hands of a fielder or has fallen on the ground then it will be considered dead.
• Guidelines will be issued for leg side wide in ODI and T20 matches.
• All fielders must be within the boundary at the time the ball is thrown.
• The wicketkeeper will no longer be fined for keeping his gloves forward during the run-up.
