Without knowing this, some people start eating it daily. Garlic contains many elements and antioxidants but it is wrong to believe that it is a cure for cancer.

Garlic can protect us from many diseases and health problems. But it is not necessary that it proves completely effective against cancer. Let us tell you through experts how much truth is there in this.

What did the expert say?

Dr. Manish Sahni (Consultant Surgical Oncologist, Kailash Deepak Hospital) It is said that if we talk about garlic, it has many health benefits. Many nutrients like Vitamin B, Vitamin C are found in it. Apart from this, some sulfur compounds, such as allicin and SLL cysteine, are present in it, which have antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. These properties are considered beneficial for our body and overall health.

Garlic is also useful in controlling blood pressure. Actually, with the help of this white thing, the production of nitric oxide in our body increases. In this way the blood vessels relax. In this way it helps in controlling blood pressure.

According to many researches, it reduces bad cholesterol to some extent. Apart from this, it can also reduce oxidative stress. It contains many antioxidants, so it can prove to be effective in protecting against damage caused by free radicals.
