The Wednesday Season 3 FIRST look out: Jenna Ortega starrer heads to ‘Paris, with dread’

New Delhi: There are a few series on OTT whose new seasons are most-awaited, and one such show is Jenna Ortega starrer The Wednesday. On Tuesday (April 21), Netflix shared the first look at The Wednesday Season 3 as the show goes global. Now, everyone’s favourite gothic teen has headed straight to Paris.

Though the upcoming season is expected to be more gothic this time, but it will go beyond its usual setting and film a few scenes along the Seine river in the French capital.

The Wednesday heads to Paris

The Paris schedule for the show began on April 18 and was concluded on April 20. In the first look poster, Jenna Ortega, who plays the titular character of Wednesday, is seen standing against the aesthetic backdrop of the Eiffel Tower with a bike on the side, with the Thing standing on it. Jenna is seen in her Wednesday outfit, channelling the gothic vibes.

Sharing the first look, Netflix captioned the post, “From Paris, with dread.”

The Wednesday recap

In the previous season, Enid ran away after she got trapped in the wolf form. Wednesday and Thing left to search for her riding in Uncle Fester’s motorcycle. The last season also ended with the introduction of Aunt Ophelia Frump, who will be played by the actress Eva Green. The show also stars Myers, Armisen, Dorobantu, Georgie Farmer, Isaac Ordonez, Joy Sunday, Billie Piper, Luis Guzman, Evie Templeton, Joanna Lumley, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The series is based on the 1963 show, The Addams Family, created by Charles Addams. The television show ran for two seasons and included 64 episodes. The show got several spin offs over the years, including Addams Family Values (1993), Addams Family Reunion (1998), The New Addams Family, and The Wednesday.
