Mumbai: A municipality president became so angry at not being invited to the final match of a cricket tournament in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district that he destroyed the pitch with a tractor. This shocking incident is said to have happened on 12th April.
Dharangaon MLA Trophy
- According to the information, ‘MLA Trophy’ cricket tournament was organized in Dharangaon of Jalgaon district. Its final match was on 12 April. The organizers did not invite the Chairman of Dharangaon Municipality to this program. He became angry because of this.
- When the final match was going on, they allegedly sent a tractor. The tractor entered the ground and badly trampled the pitch and left it unfit for play.
- Players, spectators and organizers were all shocked to see a tractor spoiling the pitch in the middle of the match. For some time no one understood what was happening.
