Iran-US Tension: Iran’s blunt reply to America – ‘No talks now, will give a befitting reply’. Iran Rules Out New Talks With Us Vows Retaliation If Attacked

Iran has accused America of ceasefire violation by refusing to negotiate. The Navy has increased security after firing on Indian ships amid tensions in Hormuz, where 14 Indian ships are stranded.

Tehran: Iran has ruled out the possibility of any new talks with the US. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Araqchi said, ‘We cannot forget the American attacks that took place during the last talks.’ He alleged that America has violated the ceasefire from the very first day it was implemented. Arakchi said that the Strait of Hormuz was completely safe before the American-Israeli attacks. Iran says the US blocked the sea route and attacked an Iranian ship, a flagrant violation of the ceasefire and international laws.

Iran also made it clear that if America tried to launch a new attack, it would get a befitting reply. Araqchi said these things in a press conference today. Meanwhile, the Indian Navy has increased security in the Strait of Hormuz area after Iranian Revolutionary Guards fired on Indian ships. Indian flagged ships passing through the Persian Gulf have been asked to remain on high alert. They have been advised to stay away from Iran’s strategically important Larak Island and proceed only after receiving direct instructions from the Navy.

Despite this tense environment, so far 11 Indian ships have passed this route safely. On April 18, a tanker named ‘Desh Garima’ was the last ship to cross this area. But on the same day, two Indian ships named ‘Jag Arnav’ and ‘Sanmar Herald’ were fired upon by the Iranian military, after which they were forced to return. At present ‘Desh Garima’ has reached the Arabian Sea and the Indian Navy is providing security to it. It is expected that this ship will reach Mumbai by 22nd April.

Iran’s Larak Island, the center of its oil exports and energy sector, is located at the narrowest part of the Strait of Hormuz. It is a high-security zone, where there is a strong network of radar systems and bunkers. There are also Iranian military bases here, which have the capability to attack ships with high-speed boats. 20% of the world’s oil passes through this vital route, and travel through it has now become extremely dangerous.

According to reports, about 14 Indian ships are currently stranded in the Persian Gulf. The Indian Navy is in constant touch with these ships and they have been instructed not to proceed without ‘green signal’. Seven warships of the Indian Navy are deployed near the Persian Gulf. These warships are providing security cover to Indian ships crossing the strait. The Navy is keeping a very serious eye on the increasing tension in this area.
